How this price dataset is produced

Each row is created when a MainBuyer offer record has both a price and a real price checked timestamp. Repeated checks can create repeated observations even when a price has not changed, because that records how long the observed price remained available.

Historical low, high and median calculations use recorded observations that were marked in stock. Missing dates are left missing: MainBuyer does not interpolate, backfill or invent prices for periods when no check took place.
